MUSTC 272 Advanced Electronic Music Production II Minimum Units: 3 Maximum Units: 3 Students acquire techniques for producing realistic emulations of acoustic instruments through the use of sequencers, synthesizers, and samplers. Prerequisite Required: MUSTC 151 , MUSTC 152 , MUSTC 153 , MUSTC 154 , and MUSTC 163 , each with a grade of P or 2.0 or better, or instructor permission. - Demonstrate advanced realism-focused sequencing techniques in the emulation of a wide variety of ensembles.
- Demonstrate the use of various emulated instruments.

- Apply digital signal processing to emulate acoustic instruments.
