Program Description:


The Electronic Music Production Associate in Applied Arts and Sciences degree is designed to provide students with a practical knowledge in electronic of the borader aspects of electronic music production and digital audio, aimed at creating computer-based music and audio for a wide variety of applications. Shoreline Community College works closely with local advisory committees and industry professionals to ensure students receive the knowledge and skills currently in demand by employers in the field. Students interested in pursuing a four-year baccalaureate degree in Music should follow the Music Pre-Major, AA-DTA Planning Guide . Some schools accept credits from this program toward a more advanced degree.

GPA of 2.0 or better for the entire program required.

Program Prerequisites:


There are no prerequisites to start this program. To graduate with a degree, the general education requirements include successful completion of ENGL& 101  and MUSTC 106 . The prerequisite for ENGL& 101 is the completion of EAP 099 , ENGL 099  or equivalent with a 2.0 or better, or placement into ENGL& 101. The prerequisite for MUSTC 106 is the completion of MATH 098  (2.0 or better) or placement into MATH 099  or instructor permission.
