This course provides students with an introductory overview of Information Technology(IT) concepts including: Operating Systems, Security, File Management, Operational Procedures, System Management, and software troubleshooting skills. This course is for students who are just getting started in their IT education as it is designed to prepare students to pass the CompTIA A+ certification which will be the bridge to an IT career pathway. No prior IT experience is needed, but students should have a basic understanding of computers.
Prerequisite Required: Completion of AC 110 with a grade of 2.0 or higher or instructor permission.
