NURS 205 Nursing Career Interviewing Seminar Minimum Units: .5 Maximum Units: .5 Fifth seminar course in six-part series for enrolled nursing students. The interviewing seminar is a course for senior nursing students who are soon to enter the nursing profession. The course includes a review of resume and cover letter development, as well as new content related to how to succeed in a professional nursing interview. These topics include answering interview questions, anxiety reduction, professionalism, and how to negotiate and accept job offers. The course wraps up with a mock interview simulation with current nursing managers who provide relevant feedback. Prerequisite Required: Prerequsites: NURS 101 , NURS 102 , NURS 103 , NURS 121 , NURS 141 , NURS 142 , NURS 143 , NURS 204 , NURS 221 , NURS 241 , each with a grade of Pass/2.0 or higher.
