First course of the lab component for students planning to take three quarters of organic chemistry with lab. Structure, nomenclature, reactions and synthesis of the main types of organic compounds. Concurrent enrollment in CHEM& 241 .
Prerequisite Required: CHEM 173 /CHEM 183 and ENGL& 101 with minimum grades of 2.0 or instructor permission.
