First course for students planning to take three quarters of organic chemistry with two labs. Structure, nomenclature, reactions, and synthesis of the main types of organic compounds. Course requires a lab component and CHEM 271 must be taken concurrently.
Prerequisite Required: CHEM 173 /CHEM 183 and ENGL& 101 with minimum grades of 2.0; or Instructor Permission.
