NURSE 241 Nursing Practice and Psychosocial Disturbance - 11 Qtr

Minimum Units: 2.5
Maximum Units: 2.5
Concepts of mental health, psychopathology, treatment modalities, psychopharmacology and the effect of culture and development on mental health status, and the mental health system and its effects on individuals are explored. Principles of psychosocial nursing and work with the interdisciplinary team are emphasized.
Prerequisite Required: Admission to the nursing program.
