NAC 105 Nursing Assistant (NAC) Theory and Skills Lab Minimum Units: 13 Maximum Units: 13 This course prepares students for the WA State Nursing Assistant exam for state certification. It includes the essentials of care giving, body systems, basic nutrition, and infection control. Hands-on training is provided in a supervised laboratory setting where students master the skills required for state certification. Emphasis on critical thinking skills and aligning theoretical concepts with applied practical skills. Prerequisite Required: Acceptance into the NAC program. Placement into MATH& 141, or completion with 2.0 or higher of ENGL& 101, or BIOL& 231 or BIOL& 241 or equivalent, or other online/hybrid college level course. Concurrent enrollment in NAC 104 .
