PSYC 230 Multicultural Psychology

Focuses on how sociocultural contexts influence psychological processes. We will develop awareness, knowledge, skills and advocacy tools to increase multicultural competence. Negative effects of oppression on mental health and well-being and strategies for inclusive counseling, research, and policy will be covered.
Prerequisite Required: PSYC& 100  with 2.0 or better.
