NAC 103 Nursing Assistant (NAC) Theory and Skills Lab Minimum Units: 13 Maximum Units: 13 This course prepares students for the WA State Nursing Assistant exam for state certification. It includes the essentials of care giving, body systems, basic nutrition, and infection control. Hands-on training is provided in a supervised laboratory setting where students master the skills required for state certification. Prerequisite Required: Acceptance into the NAC program. Non-ESL students: CASAS score of 220 in reading and either CASAS score of 220 in math or passing grade on NAC math assessment test. ESL Students: CASAS score of 220 in reading and listening, passing score on NAC math assessment test or instructor permission. Concurrent enrollment in NAC 104 .
