HUM 275 In Search of the Goddess: Images of Women

Explores visual/written images of women in Ancient World and Western cultures over the centuries. Examines how these images have changed as the roles of women have changed in literature, art, religion, politics and economics. Analyzes narratives of goddesses/women, their symbols and their paths to resistance and power.
Prerequisite Required: Placement into ENGL& 101  or higher.
