HIST& 219 Native American History Minimum Units: 5 Maximum Units: 5 This course examines diverse American Indian histories from before European contact to the present. Emphasis is placed on Indian-European cultural interactions, US-Indian policy development, and the roles Natives played to ensure their survival and cultural integrity into the 21st century. ENGL& 101 with a 2.0 or better is recommended (may be taken concurrently).
