ENGL 248 Modern American Women Writers Minimum Units: 5 Maximum Units: 5 This course examines how modern women writers explore, express, & construct identity and experience through literature. Read literature from multiple perspectives and cultures in the U.S. Authors may include Hurston, Erdrich, Lahiri, Lorde, Morrison, Ozick, Tan, Viramontes, Wharton and Yamamoto.
