BUS 150 Business Spreadsheet Fundamentals Minimum Units: 5 Maximum Units: 5 Business Spreadsheet Fundamentals provides a transferrable-skills overview of spreadsheet competencies and tools, using MS Excel 365 in a Windows-based environment. Students will learn the basics of the Excel user interface; data input and formatting for analysis; dataset and table data organization and evaluation; essential mathematical, statistical, logical, and financial calculations; pivot tables and chart, and presenting data with graphs. Course projects include creating/modifying spreadsheet documents; course file organization; and using textbook and online resources to evaluate spreadsheet data independently. Previously: BUSTC 150 Prerequisite Required: Completion of ENGL 99 or equivalent with a 2.0 or higher, or placement into ENGL& 101 or instructor permission, and completion of MATH 98 with a 2.0 or higher.
