BIOL 275 Recombinant DNA Techniques Lecture Minimum Units: 6 Maximum Units: 6 This lecture course focuses on the theory and concepts of recombinant DNA techniques, including applications of polymerase chain reaction, gene cloning with plasmid and viral vectors, regulation of recombinant protein expression in bacterial and mammalian systems, SDS-PAGE and Western blot, and uses of CRISPR/Cas9. Prerequisite Required: BIOL 270 with 1.8 or better or instructor permission.
