Students will read with understanding by locating the topic, main idea, and key details of texts and use strategies to find the meaning of unknown words. Students will use a writing process to draft and edit connected paragraphs with guidance from the instructor.
Prerequisite Required: Appropriate placement according to the Shoreline ABE placement tests.
