MUSC 150 History of Bluegrass

Bluegrass blends various musical styles, including fiddle tunes, blues, country, old-time string bands and jazz to form a uniquely American art form. This class examines the history and development of the music through reading, listening and online discussion.
Prerequisite Required: Successful completion of ENGL 99 or placement into ENGL& 101 .
