Students explore different topics through reading and writing. Students read with understanding by locating the main idea and key details and identifying the author’s purpose. Students write and edit persuasive and expository essays, increase fluency with technology, and acquire academic success strategies. HS+ credit eligible.
Prerequisite Required: Appropriate placement according to the Shoreline ABE placement tests.
