Course introduces Graphic Design with emphasis on typography, including type origins, anatomy, attributes, categories and usage. Course includes projects with critique and analysis, an introduction to graphic design history, an exploration of gestalt laws, grid systems, layout fundamentals and use of color. No prereqs.
