MATH& 146 Introduction to Stats Minimum Units: 5 Maximum Units: 5 Introductory statistics course. Analysis of data through graphical and numerical methods, linear regression, the Normal distribution, data collection, elementary probability, confidence intervals and hypothesis testing. Emphasis on applications. Satisfies Quantitative Reasoning requirement for AA degree. Prerequisite Required: Placement into MATH& 146, MATH& 107 , or MATH 99 (above the Math with Co-Requisite level), AND placement into ENGL 99 or EAP 99 . See shoreline.edu/placement for details.
