Students prepare for academic coursework, with emphasis on content-based reading and writing for academic purposes, including essays, reports, summaries, and short-answer responses. Students read pre-college level materials, with a focus on academic vocabulary.
Prerequisite Required: Completion of ESLAB 60 with Pass or 2.0 or better, or placement on the Shoreline Advanced ESL placement test.
