This course examines how modern women writers explore, express, & construct identity and experience through literature. Read literature from multiple perspectives and cultures in the U.S. Authors may include Hurston, Erdrich, Lahiri, Lorde, Morrison, Ozick, Tan, Viramontes, Wharton and Yamamoto.
Prerequisite Required: Successful completion of ENGL 99  or EAP 99 , or placement into ENGL& 101 .
