DEVED 80 Dev - Critical Thinking in College and Work

Maximum Units: 10
Students learn to think critically and reflectively by looking into themselves and out at their family, college, work and community. Strategies for reading, writing, problem-solving, reflection, group process, time management, goal-setting and involvement are learned in the context of their own college and life interests. Equivalent to ENGL 80 .
Prerequisite Required: ASSET scores of 31 in Reading and 29 in Language Usage to take this class or COMPASS scores of 50 in Reading and 14 in Writing. Registration requires the signature of an approved advisor.
