CHEM 172 General-Inorganic Chemistry II

Minimum Units: 4
Maximum Units: 4
Second course of three quarters of Gen. Chem. for science and engineering majors. Topics include quantum numbers, orbitals, atomic periodicity, bonding theories, molecular shapes/polarity, liquids & solids, properties of solutions, and basic organic. Course includes lecture and seminar. Concurrent enrollment in CHEM 182 .
Prerequisite Required: CHEM 171 /CHEM 181  or equivalent with grades of 2.0 or better.
