HIIM 134 Medical Terminology Credits: 5 Study of word elements (prefixes, suffixes and roots), terms in anatomy and physiology, selected diseases, symptoms, procedures, x-ray and laboratory tests in common usage, and commonly used medical abbreviations. Accurate spelling, meaning of terms and word elements, and pronunciation. Student option grading.
