NAC 108 Nursing Assistant (NAC) Skills
Credits: 4
This course prepares students for the WA State Nursing Assistant skill exam for state certification. It includes the essentials of care giving, body systems, basic nutrition, and infection control. Hands-on training is provided in a supervised laboratory setting where students master the skills required for state certification. Mandatory P/NC grading.
Prerequisite Required: Acceptance into the NAC program. Non-ESL students: CASAS score of 220 in reading and either CASAS score of 220 in math or passing grade on NAC math assessment test.
When Typically Offered: Summer, Fall, Winter, Spring
