NAC 107 Nursing Assistant (NAC) Theory

Credits: 9
This course prepares students for the WA State Nursing Assistant Certified for state certification. Students who complete the training can apply for the Nursing Assistant Registered crediential to begin their careers. It includes the essentials of care-giving, body systems, basic nutrition, and infection control. Mandatory P/NC grading.
Prerequisite Required: Acceptance into the NAC program. Non-ESL students: CASAS score of 220 in reading and either CASAS score of 220 in math or passing grade on NAC math assessment test.
When Typically Offered: Summer, Fall, Winter, Spring
