- Evaluate limits analytically, graphically and numerically.
- Find derivatives of algebraic and transcendental functions - including implicitly and parametrically defined functions.
- Interpret the derivative as a rate of change.
- Apply the derivative in application problems - including related rate, linear approximation, and optimization problems.
- Use the first and second derivatives to locate local maxima, minima and inflection points.
