MUSC 108 Music in World Cultures

Experience the diversity of music from around the world by examining selected musics in their broad cultural contexts: religious, historical and social. Emphasis on listening skills, music aesthetics, styles, genres, transmission and sociocultural backgrounds of musicians.
Prerequisite Required: Successful completion of ENGL 99  or placement into ENGL& 101 .
