Introduction to modern Japanese conversation and grammar taught in communicative approach. Listening, speaking, reading and writing Japanese. Hiragana, katakana, and some kanji characters are introduced. Topic covered are self-introduction, greetings, shopping, ordering at a restaurant, directions, and daily routines. No previous knowledge of the language required.
