ECON& 201 Micro Economics Minimum Units: 5 Maximum Units: 5 Principles of Microeconomics introduces students to the fundamental concept of scarcity and choice. This course explores the allocation of scarce resources and the decision-making processes of consumers, firms, and governments. Through the lens of microeconomic theory, students analyze how various factors, such as prices, costs, preferences, and market structures, influence the production, consumption, and distribution of goods and services in society. Prerequisite Required: Placement into MATH& 107 or MATH& 146 , or placement into MATH& 141 with corequisite support. Placement into ENGL& 101 .
