Introduction to Mandarin Chinese. Pronunciation and grammar taught in communicative approach. Listening, speaking, reading and writing Chinese. Simplified Chinese characters and Pinyin are introduced. Topics: self-introduction, greetings, directions and daily routines. No previous knowledge of the language required.
