ENGR& 104 Introduction to Design: Mechatronics & Robotics Minimum Units: 5 Maximum Units: 5 Introduction to design methodologies using mechatronics and robotics systems as case studies. Students will learn principles of design methods, then use rapid prototyping tools to design and build electronics and mechanical components, assemble these into a robot and program it to accomplish a specific design goal. Prerequisite Required: ENGR& 114 or ENGR 102 or CS 121 or CS& 141 or ENGR 202 or PHYS& 221 , with a grade of 2.0 or better.
