NAC 105 Nursing Assistant (NAC) Theory and Skills Lab

This course prepares students for the WA State Nursing Assistant exam for state certification. It includes the essentials of care giving, body systems, basic nutrition, and infection control. Hands-on training is provided in a supervised laboratory setting where students master the skills required for state certification. Emphasis on critical thinking skills and aligning theoretical concepts with applied practical skills.
Prerequisite Required: Acceptance into the NAC program. Placement into MATH& 141, or completion with 2.0 or higher of ENGL& 101, or BIOL& 231 or BIOL& 241 or equivalent, or other online/hybrid college level course. Concurrent enrollment in NAC 104 .
