NURSE 101 Success Strategies for Nursing Students Seminar

Minimum Units: .5
Maximum Units: .5
First seminar course in six-part seminar series for students entering the Nursing Program. Success Strategies focuses on behaviors that support academic success in nursing. The course includes skills in time management, goal setting, stress management, reading, studying, and test taking. It also includes critical thinking in nursing, embracing a growth mindset approach to learning, working in culturally diverse groups, an introduction to campus support services and other online tools applicable to nursing. Equivalent to NURS 101 .
Prerequisite Required: Admission to the Nursing Program.
