NURSE 205 Nursing Career Interviewing Seminar Minimum Units: 0.5 Maximum Units: 0.5 Fifth seminar course in six-part series for enrolled nursing students. The interviewing seminar is a course for senior nursing students who are soon to enter the nursing profession. The course includes a review of resume and cover letter development, as well as new content related to how to succeed in a professional nursing interview. These topics include answering interview questions, anxiety reduction, professionalism, and how to negotiate and accept job offers. The course wraps up with a mock interview simulation with current nursing managers who provide relevant feedback. Prerequisite Required: Admission to the Nursing Program.
