DENHY 305 Principles of Research in Health-Related Systems

In-depth study of the research process and use of scientific literature to develop oral health care plans and interdisciplinary health projects. Requires sophisticated library searches and other types of investigations and the use of applied statistics to develop a model project. Prepares students to practice evidence-based dental hygiene in their professional careers.
Prerequisite Required: Admission to the Dental Hygiene Program or permission of instructor.
