DENHY 240 Process of Care I Minimum Units: 1 Maximum Units: 1 This course supplements Clinical Dental Hygiene and Fundamentals I and is an introduction to the Dental Hygiene Process of Care. Emphasis is on assessment, dental hygiene diagnosis, and documentation phases. Using case studies, students practice how to communicate their findings from assessment exams using role-play exercises and patient-centered communication strategies.
