MUSTC 155 Synthesizers: Sampling

Recorded audio is used to create instruments and sound effects by applying the fundamental techniques of sampling, wavetable and granular synthesis (looping, pitch change, keyboard mapping, velocity layers). Modular synth construction software use for demonstration and analysis of basic sampling concepts.
Prerequisite Required: MUSTC 151 with a grade of P or 2.0 or better, or instructor permission.
