HIIM 235 Health Information Management Projects
Minimum Units: 4
Maximum Units: 4
Student teams learn basic project management skills while developing plans for a new clinic health information department. Project areas include department staffing, role-based EHR access, policies and procedures, privacy/security training, as well as new equipment and technology proposals. Prerequisite: Completion with a grade of 2.0 or higher or concurrent enrollment in all courses required in the HIT program. HIM advisor permission required.
