Instruction and practice in coding outpatient patient health records using CPT ahd HCPCS coding systems. Ethical and legal coding practices addressed. Reimbursement methodologies related to APCs and RBRVS identified.
Prerequisite Required: Completion of HIIM 171 with a grade of 2.0 or higher.
