MUSC 136 Jazz Ensemble

The Jazz Ensemble rehearses and performs music in a variety of contemporary jazz styles. Sight reading, jazz interpretation, phrasing and improvisation are stressed. Students present several concerts each quarter and participate in a yearly concert tour, usually in Spring.
Prerequisite Required: Membership in the Jazz Ensemble is by audition.
