PSYC 230 Multicultural Psychology Credits: 5 Focuses on how sociocultural contexts influence psychological processes. We will develop awareness, knowledge, skills, and advocacy tools to increase multicultural competence. Negative effects of oppression on mental health and well-being and strategies for inclusive counseling, research, and policy will be covered. Mandatory decimal grading.
