NURS 222 Nursing Practice and the Childbearing Family Credits: 3 Fifth course in the nursing sequence which focuses on the physiological and psychological changes occurring during the childbearing experience, including care of the mother, newborn, and family unit. Explores cultural implications and diverse approaches and attitudes regarding childbearing. Mandatory decimal grading. Prerequisite Required: NURS 221 and NURS 241 completed with 2.0 or above and NURS 231 and NURS 251 with Pass. Concurrently: Taken concurrently with NURS 232 .
