MUSTC 221 Multitrack Music Production 1

Minimum Units: 3
Maximum Units: 3
Students learn the operation of a multitrack recording studio and work as engineers on a variety of projects. Instruction combines demonstration and hands-on learning opportunities.
Prerequisite Required: MUSTC 123  or instructor permission.

Grading System: Student option grading

Course Learning Outcomes:
  • Demonstrate application of basic recording console signal flow and operation for multitrack recording and mixing.
  • Apply basic multitrack music mixing and processing techniques.
  • Describe and demonstrate recording studio common practices and standards.
