MUSTC 122 First-Year Audio Recording 2 Minimum Units: 3 Maximum Units: 3 Students gain a deeper understanding of signal flow in a modern multi-track recording facility through the study and usage of recording consoles and signal processing. This course is the second of a structured three-course sequence. - Demonstrate knowledge of basic console and signal processor terminology and concepts.
- Utilize various console signal routing techniques, including split and in-line console configuration.
- Apply signal processing techniques using EQ, reverb, delay, and dynamics processors.
- Identify frequency changes in terms of hertz and decibels.
