  • Explain careers available in the music industry.
  • Develop a business plan featuring networking and collaboration within the music industry.
  • Describe modern practice in the recording industry including studio management, engineers, and session musicians.
  • Provide details about the primary organizations functioning within the music industry including ASCAP, BMI, NARAS, RIAA, AFM, and the Harry Fox agency.
  • Explain music publishing and the associated function of musical work copyrights.
  • Describe the value and methods of various online music marketing options including taxi, pureaudio, myspace, and facebook.
