DENHY 473 Community Dental Health Project Minimum Units: 3 Maximum Units: 3 “Capstone” Advanced study in community dental health with interprofessional allies in community projects to be arranged on an individual basis with the instructor. Portfolio and oral presentation required. Capstone project solidifies concepts introduced and applied in the dental hygiene courses for community health. Successful completion of the course leads to applications in epidemiology, biostatistics, and research applications in oral health. Prerequisite Required: Admission to the Dental Hygiene Program or permission of the instructor.
