ENGR 240 Applied Numerical Methods with MATLAB

Numerical solutions to problems in engineering and science using modern scientific computing tools. Application of mathematical judgment in selecting computational algorithms and communicating results. Introduction to MATLAB programming for numerical computation. MATH 207  and MATH 208  suggested.
Prerequisite Required: MATH& 163  with 2.0 or better. ENGR 115  or ENGR 102  or CS 121  or CS& 141  with 2.0 or better, or prior programming experience required.
